- Zora’s Flippers

Location: Zora’s Waterfall
How To Acquire: Zora’s Waterfall is an area northeast of the Witch’s Hut and north of the Eastern Palace. You need the Power Glove and Pegasus Boots to reach it, so the ideal time to pick up Zora’s Flippers is before you go to the Tower of Hera.
You will know you are in Zora’s Waterfall when you see tons of Zora’s begin shooting at you and some even jumping out of the water and chasing you. Zora’s Waterfall is the only area in the game where Zora’s will come out of the water and chase you around. Simply follow the paths of shallow water. Some are dead ends, but there is one path that leads to a single large waterfall. When you reach it, you will meet a much larger Zora who sells Flippers.
Zora’s Flippers will cost you 500 rupees. It may sound like a lot but there is plenty of money available to you. You can easily have 500 rupees shortly after completing the Eastern Palace. The Eastern Palace alone has over 200 free rupees in it. Sahasrahla’s hideout has another 100 hidden in it. There are over 100 rupees to find in Kakariko Village and a few hundred in the areas near the swamps and desert south of Link’s house.
Uses: Zora’s Flippers allow you to swim. With them, you can gain access to some optional areas and items in Hyrule. One notable location is the Pond of Happiness in the middle of Lake Hylia.
Having the Flippers also gives you access to Zora’s Waterways. There are a handful of whirlpools that you can use to teleport around Hyrule. If you learn where each one connects then you can use them as a fast way to get from one side of the world to another.
While swimming, you cannot use any items except your shield (which will continue to block attacks automatically). However, if you push B (the sword button) then you will dive underwater for a short time. There is nothing to find underwater, but you can use it to avoid enemy attacks that your shield cannot block.
