Helmasaur King
- Location: Palace of Darkness
  Effective Weapons: Magic Hammer, Bombs, Sword, Bow & Arrow
  
  Attacks: The room this fight takes place in is dangerous. Be careful not to run into the spikes around the room. Helmasaur King will move around the room and touching him will cause damage. He has a large tail that he will periodically swing either left or right. In addition, he shoots a red fireball out of his mouth. This fireball will then stop and split into three more fireballs which then split into three fireballs which fly across the room.
  
  Novice Strategy: You cannot physically hurt Helmasaur King as long as he has his large mask. So, your first job is to destroy it. The easiest way to do this is by chipping away at it with your magic hammer. The hammer has a very short range, so you must get very close to the King to damage his mask. After several strikes the mask will break and reveal a large green jewel on his forehead.
  
  At this point all you have to do is attack the green jewel. Both the sword and bow are effective weapons to use.
  
  Veteran Strategy: There is an alternate, harder way to break his mask: use bombs. The bombs will actually destroy his mask faster than the hammer if you time them carefully. The hammer is only faster, usually, because it is easier to hit the mask repeatedly than to predict where the King will move next.
