What To Do:
Enter the Lost Woods using the entrance just north of hte Fortune Teller outisde Kakariko Village. Follow the path north until you find a small tree hut. Ignore the hut and chop down the pushes immediately above it. Under the center bush is a hole, and when you fall in it you will find a piece of heart.

What To Do:
Just west of Sahasrahla’s house there is a cave and a square shaped hole. If you jump off the cliff just above the hole, you can get inside. Inside are plenty of rupees, a few bombs, and a cracked wall. Blow the wall open using one of your new bombs to reveal a secret room. Inside is a piece of heart.

Connected to Sahasrahla’s house is a small green building. Go inside and head downstairs. On the north wall there is a cracked wall and if you blow it open you will find a piece of heart.

On the southern end of Kakariko there is a long house that belongs to two brothers. If you go inside you will learn that they had a fight and have sealed the door shut. Use a bomb to blow it open, head to the next room, and then go outside. A girl will greet you and give you 15 seconds to reach the end a maze. If you complete the maze within the time limit, you will be rewarded with a piece of heart. You can jump the fence, just like you were jumping off a cliff, if you head towards the two dark green dots just south of the sign in the maze to make it easier. However, if you want a challenge, it is possible to win without using the shortcut.

What To Do:
On your way to the desert, you will find a building surrounded by lakes. If you go inside you can pull two levers. One causes bombs to fall from the sky, but the other drains the water. When you go outside again, a piece of heart will be waiting for you in the drained lakes.

On the northeastern edge of the desert there is a cave where one of the elders is hiding. In his cave is a cracked wall. Use a bomb to open it and find another piece of heart.

About half way through the Desert Temple (just after you get the Power Glove), you will head outside briefly before entering another area of the dungeon. If you head south before entering the dungeon again, you will find a piece of heart laying on the ground.

What To Do:
Just west of the Sanctuary is a pile of five rocks that can be remove if you use the Pegasus Boots to ram into them. Destroying them will reveal a staircase which leads to a room with a piece of heart.

What To Do:
On your way to the Tower of Hera, just before you enter the Dark World for the first time, there are several cliffs that you can jump off of. If you jump in the correct spot you will land at the entrance to a cave. When you follow the path, you will find a message from Sahasrahla and a piece of heart.

What To Do:
On the way to the Tower of Hera, you will be forced to enter the Dark World for a short time. In order to continue, you must use the Magic Mirror on the imprint of Spectacle Rock on the ground. When you do, you will return to the Light World and be on top of Spectacle Rock. A piece of heart is also on the ground, waiting for you.

Northern Hyrule (outside the Lumberjack’s House)

What To Do:
After defeating Aganhim for the first time, return to the Light World and visit the Lumberjacks. The tree they were cutting before will have changed color and if you ram into it with the Pegasus Boots, you will be able to enter the tree trunk. Inside, you will find a piece of heart.

What To Do:
Go to Lake Hylia in the Dark World and locate a ring of rocks. Then, use the Magic Mirror inside the circle to find a piece of heart on an island in the Light World.
Location:
South of the Haunted Grove

What To Do:
In the Dark World, located the area where the Haunted Grove would be in the Light World. Continue south from there until you find an area surrounded by purple poles. Use the mirror in the middle of them to return to the Light World and find a cave containing the next piece.

What To Do:
In the Dark World, go to the northeast corner of the swamp surrounding Misery Mire. Use the Magic Mirror to find a rock hiding a cave with a piece of heart.

What To Do:
Go to the graveyard in the Dark World and find a cliff with a ladder that leads to nothing. On the cliff, use the magic mirror to find a cave containing the next heart piece.

In the Dark World, find a cave leading to an area of the moutain that is not connected to anything else. Use the Magic Mirror to find the piece.

Jump down a cliff onto a long ledge. Head to the right side and use the Magic Mirror to find a cave containing a piece.

In the Village of Outcasts, there is a mini-game that has you opening chests for prizes. One of the chests is a Piece of Heart. The placement is random and you will likely need to play several times.

In the Village of Outcasts, head to the area where the Blacksmith’s live in the Light World. You will find several purple stakes. Smash all of them to reveal a cave with a piece of heart.

In the southern areas of the Village of Outcasts, there is a mini-game that has you digging holes for prizes. Among the piles of rupees and other prizes, you can dig up a piece of heart. You will likely need to play several times.

To the left of the entrace of Misery Mire, there is a smaller building that contains a piece of heart.

What To Do:
Starting from the top of the pyramid, head down but stay on the right side. You will find a ledge to jump off of. Follow the path without jumping down further to find a piece of heart.

In the lower areas of Death Moutain, you will find a cave. Follow the paths in the cave and use the Magic Mirror to get past the bumper. The path will lead you to a piece of heart.

After purchasing the flippers, head down and jump off one waterfall. Before jumping down further, header left to a grassy area. You will find a piece of heart there.
