Location: Hyrule Castle
How To Acquire: The boomerang is hidden in small room near the dungeon. The room also contains a castle guard that must be defeated for a key, so it is very hard to miss the room where the boomerang is located. It is in a normal size chest, not a large one, so you will not need the big key.
Uses: The boomerang is most useful for pulling objects towards you. If a key is out of reach or if a far away enemy drops a rupee you can use the boomerang to pull the object towards you. In addition, the boomerang can stun some enemies. If an enemy is defeated while stunned, then it will always drop one rupee. Some weaker enemies will be destroyed instantly when hit with the boomerang.
The boomerang can also be used to activate some switches.
