- AGAHNIM
Location: Hyrule Castle (First Time), Ganon’s Tower (Second Time)
Effective Weapons: Master Sword, Bug-Catching NetAttacks: During both fights, Agahnim will shoot large red fireballs can that can be deflected and small blue fireballs that cannot be deflected.
During the first fight, he will sometimes attack with lightning from the top center of the room. During the second fight he does not use lightning,
but instead he makes two copies of himself. All three can hurt you, but you can only hurt the real one.Strategy (First Fight): When you first meet Agahnim in Hyrule Castle simply wait for him to attack. If he shoots a large red fireball, swing at
it with your sword to deflect it back at him and deal damage. If he shoots a blue fireball, run out of its path to avoid taking damage. If you see
Agahnim move to the top center of the room you need to respond by quicking moving to the top of the room yourself. Agahnim will then
attack with lightning that can kill you after only a few hits. Continue deflecting red fireballs until he is defeated.Strategy (Second Fight): The second fight is very similar to the first fight. You will still be deflecting red fireballs, but this time three of them
will be coming at you at the same time. Agahnim will create two clones. You cannot hurt them, but they can hurt you. Focus your attacks on
the real Agahnim (the clones are faded out) and deflect fireballs just as you did before. Keep in mind that it is possible to deflect a clone’s
fireball at the real Agahnim. Lastly, you will not need to worry about lighting in this fight because Agahnim will not cast it (even if he goes
to the top center of the room).Other Tips:
- If you’re looking for a laugh, a challenge, or if the Master Sword just isn’t working for you try using the Bug-Catching Net. It can also be used to deflect Agahnim’s fireballs.
