The Temple Ruins Version 2.3.1

AFFILIATION
- The Temple Ruins is always open to having more affiliates. This is all about the Zelda community and the more sites I can link to, the better. Of course, I have to set down some guidelines in order to protect the viewers of this site from “bad stuff” and to make sure I’m not wasting the fan’s time. Most websites will easily meet my requirements.
  
  Webmaster - I don’t like jerks. I expect you to treat people with respect. I won’t get the chance to know all of you as well as others, which is unfortunate, so most of this will be based on my impression of you after reading your email. I don’t expect you to be incredibly proper or treat me like you would a business client (although it doesn’t hurt), but I want you to be nice.
  
  Experience and Devotion - If you’re brand new to the Zelda community, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I need to see how well your site performs over a few months (at least). It’s great if you have an awesome design and tons of content, but if you can’t keep the site operational for more than a couple months then we could have a problem. It’s a pain to have to constantly remove affiliates because the owners lost interest. Fortunately for all of you, I was once a young, unexperienced Zelda webmaster who ran into tons of problems (and I still run into some to this day). So, I will be rather lenient on this rule. However, I would prefer that your site be well established and regularly updated.
  
  Content - This is another rule I’m somewhat lenient on, but only because I have the same problem. I want your website to have content and if you have content that is “coming soon” I’d prefer you just take the page down until it’s ready (rather than having a ton of “coming soon” pages). However, being someone who loves web and graphic design, but doesn’t always love writing things, I understand that sometimes it is tedious and boring. However, I do expect you to have some content. Not every part of life is enjoyable.
  
  Adult and Illegal Content - If you have adult content on your website, I will not accept it. Simple as that. Keep it appropriate for all ages. On the subject of swearing, I’ll allow some, but please keep it to a minimum. In addition, I will not affiliate with sites that contain illegal content, especially pirated media. There is only one exception to this rule: ROMS. I do not support the use of ROMS and Emulators and I would prefer that you not support them either. However, if you have a really well designed, well maintained website with tons of content and then you have a ROM, I’ll accept. However, anyone else with ROMS and Emulators, don’t waste your time.
  
  Anything Else I Don’t Like - I reserve the right to refuse to affiliate with your website for any other reason not listed here.
  
  If you feel your site meets our requirements, please send your name (or screenname), website name, website URL, and a nice greeting to sheik-yumil1988@zeldawiki.org . I will reply and either accept or decline your website. If you are declined, a reason will be given. If you are accepted, a link to your website will be placed in the Affiliates section of the navigation bar. I expect the same to be done for The Temple Ruins. You may use a text link, or you may use one of our linking buttons. If you would like to use something else, please gain permission first.
